The Brave Leadership Model
Having worked with leaders over the past couple decades, I’ve learned that typical approaches to confidence (things like power poses, fake ‘til you make, or feel the fear and do it anyway) do not help you feel truly authentic in your leadership role. Rather, they further what you may already be feeling — like you’re in over your head—or like you’re an imposter.
True leaders don’t have everything figured out 100% of the time, but this doesn’t scare them into inaction.
True leaders are BRAVE leaders.
They are COMPASSIONATE with themselves and others.
They practice COURAGE.
They cultivate HOPE.
And they know that their VULNERABILITY is a source of strength, not weakness.
